Duct Seam Lock Types

Three different seams are common in the industry to connect the corners of the ducts:

1 - Snap lock seam,

2 - Pittsburgh seam

3 - Duct zipper seam.

 

Button snap lock and Pittsburgh lock can be produced on the lock forming machines. The Pittsburgh seam shows much better results and can also be used for a higher pressure.

Duct Zipper (Duct seaming style), allows you to produce the highest quality duct much faster, easier and more profitable than ever before.

The Zipper machine is suitable to work with Duct Auto Line III.
