F350 mostly using in HVAC duct working for connecting duct with TDC flanges sheet thickness from 0.8 to 3.5 mm 

with the clinching process , The sheet of metal to be joined are placed on top of each other. Then the tool cuts a strip in to the sheets in a combined punching and forming process.

A form-fitting and corrosion-resistance connection joins the top and lower sheets as the materials flow into one another . The connection points solidifies resulting in a permanent connection without additional tools or heat
